Hello everyone 👋 Welcome to Traveling Shubham. One of the best parts about this trip was how affordable it was. I booked a round-trip flight from Mumbai to Muscat for just ₹8,000 with SalamAir, proving that international travel doesn’t always have to be expensive if you plan smartly. In this video, I’m sharing my Muscat, Oman travel journey 🇴🇲, where I explored a mix of city life, coastline, mountains, and some of the most beautiful natural spots in the country. This trip showed me a completely different side of the Middle East, peaceful, scenic, and incredibly welcoming. I’m Shubham Bandikatte, based in Mumbai, working a full-time corporate job. Whenever I get time, I pack my bag and travel. This channel is my way of sharing real travel experiences, not just the perfect moments, but also the effort, planning, and small surprises that come along the way. I truly believe you don’t need to quit your job or wait for the “right time” to start exploring. If I can do it alongside work, you can too. During this trip, I explored Muscat city, driving along the coastline, experiencing the calm vibe of the capital, and taking in the contrast between modern roads and traditional architecture. One of the highlights was visiting Wadi Shab, located around 140 km from Muscat. The journey involved a short boat crossing followed by a scenic trek through rocky canyons and palm-lined paths, leading to stunning turquoise pools. Swimming through the wadi, feeling the cold mountain water even in summer, and jumping into natural pools was easily one of the most unforgettable experiences of this trip. Another must-visit stop was Bimmah Sinkhole, a natural limestone crater filled with crystal-clear blue-green water, located along the coastal highway. It’s an easy stop with no trekking involved and perfect for a refreshing swim after a long, hot day. The contrast between the desert surroundings and the vibrant water color is unreal. One important tip for travelers, Oman is visa-free for people who already hold a valid active US, UK, Schengen, or Japan visa, which makes it a very convenient and stress-free international destination for Indians. The country is extremely safe, the roads are excellent, and the natural landscapes are untouched and breathtaking. This video is all about real experiences, city views, road trips, natural beauty, swimming in wadis, and slowing down to enjoy the journey.
