FRH Talks | Religious Heritage at Risk: Saving our Cultural Treasures I. Church of Santo Estevo de Pousada The Church of Santo Estevo de Pousada is a historic chapel in Northern Spain, dating from the 12th and 13th centuries. Its interior still retains some remnants of these 15th-century frescoes. Unfortunately, this Galician heritage enclave is at risk of being lost due to the deteriorating condition of the building and its location in a sparsely populated area. This talk features Jesús Salvador López and Uxía Aguiar Ballesteros from the Department of Cultural Heritage of the Diocese of Lugo, who presented the Diocese's strategies for the restoration of the church and the recovery of its precious frescoes.
