Review - Compass Box: "This Is Not A Luxury Whisky" Blended Scotch

Wow, John Glaser and Compass box have done it again! They've created another fantastic Blended Scotch entitled, "This Is Not A Luxury Whisky". TINALW is a blend of 79% - 19 yr Glen Ord single malt (matured in 1st fill sherry casks), 10.1% - 40 yr Strathclyde single grain (ex-bourbon barrel matured), 6.9% - 40 yr Girvan single grain (ex-bourbon barrel matured) and 4% - 30 yr Caol Ila (ex-bourbon barrel matured), so you know the contents contradict the name. It was bottled in July of 2015, bottled at 53.1%abv and unfortunately there was only enough to release 4,992 bottles. As of 12-11-2015, my current bottle count stands at over 2,100 bottles. I am a Certified Specialist of Spirits and have also been certified by the Tequila Regulatory Council (CRT). I've been actively collecting for the last two decades and what started as a small basic home bar has transformed (with the help and understanding of my wonderful wife) into what I think is a pretty nice collection.
