By the age of 16 he was producing ragga hip-hop beats and joined French hip-hop collective '7Secte' from Seine et Marne where he discovered his talent as an MC and vocalist. In 2008 Tenja moved to England to spread his message and his voice. His career flourished as he hooked up with 'Daddy-U' and 'The Uplifter', and also assumed the role of singer in reggae band 'Dubheart'. Since then he as performed regularly both with the band and as a solo artist at events and festivals around the world such as Dubnium (Bournemouth), Outlook Festival (Croatia), Endorse it in Dorset Festival where he performed with Dubmatix, Cargo (London), Nozstock Festival and Onelove Festival where the band arrived second in the U.K. Reggae Contest. His talent shone through and was soon recognised by promotors in the reggae scene, and since then he has performed along artists such as Channel One System, Jazzsteppa, Congo Natty, Kromstar and RSD in the Dub to Jungle and Dub to Dubstep UK tours. As his reputation grew he found himself perfoming alongside Marcia Griffiths at the Salute to the Wailers event at Hammersmith Apollo in London. His current projects include his work with Dubheart who are currently working on a new roots reggae album, as well as personal projects making roots and steppas riddims and producing dubplates for some well known artists.... watch this space!
