i haven't been able to do anything music related in quite a while. nothing original since june, and i've pretty much stopped playing guitar. i've missed music greatly but despite my continued efforts, i couldn't find my way back to it. i found myself really wanting to play this song. it's one of my favorites, a really heart wrenchingly beautiful song. Neil Halstead couldn't play it live for years because it was too painful for him. thank you for listening, and i know my voice isn't trained and my technique isn't the best. i couldn't sing for a long time, so now when i do, i at least try to do it from the heart. i hope to get better but for now i want to honor where i am, because if i wait until i think i sound perfect then i may be waiting forever. maybe i will post more covers for now, maybe this will be the only one, i don't know.
