I want to really push myself so I can edit and direct my first music video. This was very spontaneous. This past Saturday, I wanted to shoot a video at the Heidelberg Project in Detroit. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to do or to what song I wanted to dance to. As we pulled up to the project, I noticed a field of “time” and “clocks” and thought of My Time by Jungkook from BTS (방탄소년단). All dancing was freestyle and improvisation. I fused waacking, Khmer traditional dance, and Jazz. After the shoot, I saw the owner and founder Tyree Guyton and he was working on an art project. He told me he saw me floating on the field of grass like a butterfly. With his blessing, he let me put this video up.
