Brooklyn College students and pro-Palestine protesters attempted to form a tent protest encampment on campus to demonstrate against the ongoing U.S. funded genocide of Palestinians in Gaza. In response, NYPD swarmed the campus to shut down the encampment, arresting protesters as well as university professors. NYPD became violent, using tasers on protesters as well as punching them.
