This Magic Kingdom theater attraction opened on July 8, 1994 in the theater that now houses Mickey's Philharmagic and gave its final performance on February 23rd, 2002. This long gone attraction was truly unique at the time. This show combined elaborate puppets of all your favorite Lion King characters with cutting edge special effects (for the time,) and a costumed Rafiki character, which provided narration of the classic Disney story and also featured all the popular songs from the film.
