Goan Style Chana Ros / White peas curry recipe / White Vatana masala / Goan chanya ros / white vatana with coconut gravy / white peas curry recipe / Goan breakfast recipe / Goan white peas patal bhaji / Traditional Goan Breakfast recipe / Goan Vegetarian recipe | Ingredients White peas – 200 gm / 250 gm (washed, soaked in water overnight) Potatoes – 2 medium sized (cut into pieces) French Beans – 7-8 nos (chopped) Carrot – 1 (cut into small pieces) Tomato – 1 (cut into small pieces) Onion – 1 large size sliced Garlic – 6-7 cloves Ginger – 1 inch Green Chillies – 4 to 6 Coriander leaves – one cup Grated coconut – 1 cup Turmeric powder – 1 tsp Tamarind – ½ inch Chilli powder – 1 tsp heaped (as per taste) Garam Masala powder – 1 tsp heaped (as per taste) Coriander Leaves – ½ cup (for garnishing) Oil – 1 tbsp Note: A breakfast recipe that's cooked in most Goan homes. Goan chanya ros is very popular in Goa, served with Goan Bread / Pav or Buns in all road side restaurants. We could increase the spice quantity as per taste.
