Winter camping in Kansas with a Finnish theme. I decided to throw together some of my Finnish gear, clothing, and food and go winter camping overnight in the Flint Hills of Kansas. The more I thought about it, the more Finnish items and foods that I thought of that I should have brought with me.....oh well! It was the 80th anniversary of the Winter War, so it seemed a good reason to honor the Fins who bravely resisted the Soviet invasion of their country.
