This week we head to Foona Lake near Selby, a hidden gem surrounded by nothing but farmers fields — truly fishing in the middle of nowhere! It’s the end of February and half term, so I brought along the whole crew… my two boys and my Dad (OMR). Three generations of Fox family on the bank for a proper winter carp fishing adventure. Despite the cold conditions we managed to land 5 carp between me and OMR, while the boys kept us busy catching loads of Rudd. As the sun dropped, we lit the campfire, toasted marshmallows and settled in for a proper family fishing night under the stars. Remote lake. Winter carp. Family memories.
