Weightlifting New Zealand is proud to be the host of the 2024 Oceania Weightlifting Championships as part of the Weightlifting Festival held at Due Drop Events Centre, South Auckland, 17-25 Feb. The week long Festival will feature the Discipline Games Events Oceania Cup Teams Events on Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th, a Masters Tri Nation Team Weightlifting Competition on Tuesday 20th, and the 2024 Youth, Junior & Senior Oceania Championships on Wednesday 21st - Sunday 25th, that will bring together the top Weightlifters from the Oceania region as their last opportunity to battle for a place at the 2024 Paris Olympics. We also have exciting displays and opportunities to join in with NZ Esports & HADO NZ, Sport NZ, Disability Sport NZ. From Wednesday to Friday the Festival will engage and inspire our youth through a schools education program delivered by The New Zealand Olympic Team.
