#cavitex #c5link #expressway The CAVITEX C5 Link is a 7.7-kilometer expressway in Metro Manila connecting the Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX) to Circumferential Road 5 (C-5) in Taguig. It aims to provide a faster route between Cavite and northern Metro Manila, cutting travel time significantly once fully connected. Parts of the expressway, including Segments 2 and 3A-1/3A-2, are already open to traffic, while the final segment (3B) is currently under construction to complete the link.   Project details Purpose: To provide a faster and more direct connection between the CAVITEX and C5 Road in Taguig.  Length: 7.7 kilometers.  Route: Connects from the CAVITEX in Parañaque/Las Piñas to C5 in Taguig.  Key features: A flyover that crosses the SLEX-Skyway.  Modern toll system with electronic lanes, traffic management, and CCTV.  Emergency and roadside services.  Benefits: Expected to reduce travel time by up to 40 minutes for many motorists and serve over 50,000 vehicles daily once fully operational.  Current status Segments 2 and 3A-1/3A-2 are operational.  Segment 3B, the final section that connects the two endpoints, is currently under construction and is targeted for completion by late 2025.  The project is a joint effort involving the Philippine Reclamation Authority, Toll Regulatory Board, and Cavitex Infrastructure Corporation.
