Today, I will introduce an interesting shared electric scooter system called Tuul. LINKS & RESOURCES -------------------------------------------- Get 50% OFF from your next 2 rides: Use Promo code KM7G6 Blog: https://electricwheelers.com/tuul-ele... -------------------------------------------- Tuul is an Estonian brand, which is headquartered in Tallinn. It’s operating only in a couple of cities in Estonia and also in Riga, the capital of Latvia. So, if you are going to visit these countries, you can seek these electric scooters and try them out by yourself. By the way, ‘Tuul’ means ‘Wind’ in English. To be able to rent Tuul electric scooters, you need their app. Just search for it from Google Play or App Store. Also, you need to add your credit card info before you can rent the scooter. When all this is done, we just need to scan the QR code from the handlebar and click the ‘Start Ride’ button. Alright, the scooter is now unlocked. Let’s see how good it is and how’s the ride quality. Tuul itself says that its scooters are the most durable e-scooters in the world. That even might be true because their scooters were the only ones that were available in Tallinn even in the winter. The frame of the scooter seems very solid and sturdy. On the handlebar, you can find a brake lever, a half-twist accelerator on the right, and a bell on the left. The bell looks very similar to the accelerator. The scooter has mechanical drum brakes and electrical ABS. They provide enough stopping power. Plus, the braking is really smooth. Additionally, the scooter has a braking light. I think it’s a nice safety feature that every e-scooter should have. One of the main advantages over the other shared scooters is the wide deck. It’s wide enough so you can easily put your feet next to each other. Tuul scooters don’t have any suspensions. However, that doesn’t automatically mean that ride quality is poor. It has quite large pneumatic tires, which help to soften some occasional bumps on the road. Also, these tires provide a good grip. If I could manage with them on slippy snow, they should be safe on wet asphalt as well. Tuul scooters don’t have a display, so I don’t know exactly how fast they are going. But it felt like 20-25 km/h. There is a regulation here that won’t allow scooters to be faster than that. The acceleration curve was pretty nice. Nothing to complain about in that area. Compared to other means of transport, riding with Tuul electric scooter is very cheap. There is no starting fee and the riding fee is just 15 cents per minute. So if you rent a scooter for 30 minutes, it’s realistic to ride about 10km. It will cost you just 4.5€. To finish the ride, just park the scooter on the side of the road. To sum it up, I can say that I am very satisfied with the experience I got from Tuul electric scooter. I would even say that the ride comfort is above average when compared with other shared electric scooters. So if you are visiting Estonia or Latvia and see those colorful Tuul electric scooters on the streets, you should definitely try them out. Anyway, thanks for watching and happy riding! • Tuul Electric Scooters Review - Rental Sco... #tuul
