The artillery tractor ATS-59G was adopted by the USSR in 1970. Initially, the machine was developed for towing heavy guns. The mass of the ATS-59G tractor is almost fourteen tons. Engine power is 300 horsepower. Maximum speed on the highway is 45 kilometers per hour. Cruising range on fuel: 350 - 500 kilometers.
