#goatrance #oldschool #90s 🅻🅾🆁🅴: Night. Your shuttle touched down moments ago. The hatch releases with a hiss. You step out - and the world before you feels like a dream sculpted in glass and neon. Now, behind the wheel of your cyber-cruiser, you glide through the neon streets of humanity’s first megacity on the Red Planet. Towers of alloy and glass stretch toward the depths of the Martian sky, their surfaces rippling with holographic ads. Drones weave between the spires like metallic fireflies, and at every corner, spaceports hum with the pulse of departing ships. Above it all, the heavens unfold - an endless array of eternal stars. Yet instead of a moon, Earth looms impossibly large, its image amplified across the Martian sky by a network of orbital mirrors and magnification grids. A masterpiece of illusion — distant, yet achingly close. You press your foot to the accelerator, and the car hums forward, slicing through the Martian night. Welcome to the future. Welcome to Mars. 🅸🅽🅵🅾: This track took around three months to bring to life - over 100 layers of sound, countless revisions, and plenty of late nights (and computer issues as always). Built with hardware synths, guitar pedals, and a few touches of Omnisphere for the ambient pads. Hardware: Access Virus TI, Roland JV1080, Behringer: MS-1, K-2, TD-3, RD-9, JT-Mini, Eurorack Software: Cubase Pro 14, Omnisphere, plenty of effect plugins 🅶🅴🅽🆁🅴: Goa Trance - raw, unpolished, and true to its 90s roots - or at least this is what I'm trying to achieve. This is the third track in my series dedicated to rediscovering the experimental edge of the ’90s. Built completely from scratch. Every sound was hand-tweaked on hardware synths and shaped with pedal effects for that raw, unpredictable character. Omnisphere and JV1080 are the only two synths where I used presets, which I'm usually tweaking anyway. My sources of inspiration are labels like Dragonfly, Matsuri, and Phantasm, to name the major ones. If you're into: Old-school Goa Trance Analog synth wizardry Rough-edged, mind-bending psychedelia …then you’re in the right timeline.
