Finally we also show you how to assemble a Mammut pro shovel and how to inspect it. When traveling in the winter backcountry every person should have a transceiver, worn on their person. A probe and shovel in their backpack, and know how to use them. This video does not cover how to use each item in an avalanche rescue, and you should take an avalanche education class to learn the proper ways to use each of these life saving tools.
