She was inducted into the police force in 2009 and worked as an additional superintendent in Akola and Jalgaon followed by SP of Hingoli. After a dashing show as DCP in Nashik, she was posted as DCP Zone 4 in Mumbai in May 2016. Her jurisdiction includes sensitive Antop Hill and Kalachowky areas and she has solved many tangled offences. She did not allow her family and children to obstruct her duties. Even today, she leaves her children at home in the dead of night to visit the site of offence. She has taken many measures to contain crimes against aged persons, women and minors.
