Getting the Full Irish Experience | Cliffs of Moher + Dingle Peninsula

We visit one of the most famous sights in all of Ireland, the spectacular Cliffs of Moher on the West Clare coast. After a super sunny morning getting the full Cliffs of Moher Experience and seeing the visitor center, we ventured down south to the Dingle Peninsula. The Dingle Peninsula is a stunning area of Ireland with so many cool stops and under normal circumstances this would've been an amazing day, but we were met with torrential rain as soon as we hit the peninsula. We later found out there was an orange weather warning in the area which only happens a few times a year. With a break in the rain and after surviving the scary Connor Pass with 50 mph winds, we found ourselves at Gallarus Oratory. This stop was so neat! It is a 1,000 year old plus church with a beehive hut structure (commonly found on Dingle) that is still standing today despite it not having any mortar. This is a true feat of engineering. The rest of our plans were washed out for the day, so we ended our day in the town of Dingle where we had some good pub food followed by ice cream from the famous Murphy's Ice Cream.
