I was just about to miss today's livestream, but luckily I got back home just in time to tune in, so here we are. While the main theme for this season was included whole in the waiting segment, there were a bunch of sound effects that got in the way. Luckily, since they didn't follow a fixed timing, I could remove them by splicing some bits of the repetition; thus what you're listening to now is the full, clean version of the main menu theme for this 18th season that we will listen to once it starts this June 10th. Year 5 Season 2: Mirage introduces a new chapter in For Honor's ongoing story, set a while after the Horkos Masquerade and Chimera Banquet festivities. Both factions have recruited lots of warriors and made extensive use of draconite so far in their war; however none of them were prepared for the unforeseen consequences in the climate of Heathmoor, so when a long dry season arrived all factions were caught by surprise. Suddenly the focus wasn't so much as to prove which side was right anymore, but to get some water for next week. Dire times are ahead for all in Heathmoor, full of heat, dehydration and strange mirages; visions of a mysterious warrior whose abilities don't look like anything out of this world. Maybe it's just the thirst and heat playing tricks on the viewer, or maybe... maybe, that warrior has something else going on.
