Our Europe trip nearly collapsed before it even began — a mechanical issue, a missed connection, and a completely canceled itinerary — but that unexpected setback turned into one of our most memorable adventures ever. From a last‑minute JFK–Milan redemption to discovering Lake Garda, relaxing at Aqua Dome, eating four nights in a row at Die Wilderin in Innsbruck, and returning to our happy place at Adler Lodge Alpe in the Dolomites, this journey became a reminder of why we travel in the first place.
