Hulimavu is one of the fast developing localities in South Bengaluru, situated along the Bannerghatta Road. The busy Bannerghatta Road passes through the western part of the neighborhood. Hulimavu is situated at a distance of around 48 km from the Kempegowda International Airport. Majestic home for Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Bus Stand, metro station, and the Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna Railway Station is 16 km away. BMTC bus, cab and auto facilities are good in Hulimavu. Currently, the nearest metro station is in Yelachenahalli. Nonetheless, once the Phase II metro expansions are complete, metro connectivity to Hulimavu will enhance significantly. Wide roads and easy access to schools, hospitals, banks, malls and public transport facilities, makes Hulimavu a favorable destination among home buyers. Christ University, Indian Institute of Management (IIMB), ITM Business School, and Orchid International are some of the well renowned educational institutions situated in close proximity. Prominent hospitals like Fortis and Apollo are within 5 km. The famous Royal Meenakshi mall is the nearest shopping centre. Bad roads along the interiors, traffic congestion during peak hours and flooding in a few pockets during heavy downpours are some of the major civic issues faced by the residents of Hulimavu. To wrap it up, Hulimavu’s proximity to employment centres, good connectivity and affordable property rates are the major attractions for real estate buyers. Easy access to social and retail infrastructure are other add ons. Nonetheless, since the locality is attached to the busy Bannerghatta Road, you might have to bear with traffic jams, especially during peak hours.
