was trying something different, played it a little bit safe in some bits where i would normally go deeper, gold on liminality because im not going out of my way 2 badly placed champions when i basically own 98% of the loot stock market, one thing is skipping 1/2 champions clearly placed in bad spots by some drunk off vodka dev, one thing is skipping them all. i could have sneaked in a few, if not the whole act 1 gms into this, but recently the passion is nowhere near the levels where i would try something like that. Besides the passion, crafting a consistent route in solos is really hard, its the only thing i can pride myself for these days, as speed for me, is no longer a great motivator. The game is in a state of mostly hate for me now a days, they have basically killed pvp for me after 1000s of hours spent playing it when final shape dropped. The pve sandbox is beyond boring, the same 3 builds dominate everything and have been for quite a while without any changes being made, but here we are worrying about patching oobs in a dungeon or making a boss more insufferable. with the level of powercreep that we have reached there is no distinction between someone who knows how to play the end game well, and someone who doesnt and just presses 3 buttons to win; it really is a shame, 2024 was the killer year for a legacy of fun for me, if i could go back to 2019 and shoot my not forgotten again, i would do it in a hearbeat, if i could go back to end game pve of starfire/minihammer meta, i would do it in a heartbeat. They really did "climb all the way to the top just to see how far they would fall" - Man, it is becoming a depressing black hole to look at old clips from years ago and comparing them to how the state of the game is now, not to mention the friends who, along the way stopped playing or broke off to go their own way(props to them, honestly.)
