Volunteer engagement in sports transcends the boundaries of mere physical activity; it becomes a catalyst for the development of a healthy and inclusive society. This fosters values of teamwork, discipline, and respect, shaping individuals who contribute positively to their communities. Inclusive volunteer involvement and skills enhancement through training, capacity building, and advocacy. However current trends show a decline in volunteerism. This workshop serves as a platform to understand the current decline in volunteerism and its reasons in view to propose tangible strategies to encourage volunteerism and establish structures that build capacity and empower volunteers as agents of positive change within the Sport for All movement and the communities they serve.
