Following the tweet, several people called for a fundraiser in order to help the cricketer in these terrible times. The call to do so comes after Tumda was rejected from several government jobs over the last couple of years. Despite winning the trophy for India, he is still struggling to find work in the government. As a result, the cricketer is in dire straits owing to a lack of basic human needs.
