This is part of my series called Living with the Qcon ProX. Join me as I try to pick my way through the quirks of this control surface and explain how I either solved, worked around or simply learnt to live with the issues. This episode: How I avoided crashing Cubase when I turned on my Qcon and a quick run through of the all important motorised faders, channel strip and the basics of using the Qcon in your workflow. Please also consider putting a tip in the jar at my BUY ME A COFFEE page if you find these videos useful - https://www.buymeacoffee.com/Moonhare... I bought the Icon as I was building my home studio (Moonhare Studio) in 2017 running Cubase Pro 9.5 on a windows PC. Despite having a superb feature set and tough build quality, it suffers from a User Manual that is very light on useful guidance and some rather patchy customer service from Icon themselves. Despite this I have enjoyed using the Qcon Pro X and I hope that you will too. If you’re into like and subscribe I’ll upload more helpful hints that simply don’t appear in the User Guide. But I’m just a user like yourselves trying to pass on information so don’t feel compelled to join the channel.
