In this short update, I tackle a persistent PTO oil leak on the 1955 Fordson Major Diesel tractor. Last time I replaced the inner PTO seals successfully, but an O-ring at the lower unit joint was still leaking badly—turns out it was completely broken in half! I show the highlights of removing the PTO unit again, replacing the O-ring carefully, and reassembling everything. After refilling with oil (about 15 gallons total!), I confirm it’s completely dry—no leaks anywhere. For the first time since I bought this tractor a few months ago, it’s finally usable!
