1) A very interesting teaching aid to understand LCM. Here the multiples of various numbers are exposed on a sheet of paper by cutting out small squares. This sheet with the "windows" when placed on a number chart gives the tables or multiple of that particular number and an interesting pattern. 2) When two or three "window" sheets are placed together - for example when 2 and 3 are placed together, the multiple of 6 is visible.The LOWEST number visible is the LCM of 2 and 3 3) Another example when 3 and 5 window sheets are placed together, the multiples of 15 will be visible. The LOWEST number visible is the LCM of 3 and 5 4) You can place a combination of windows say 9, 12 and 18 and you will notice that 36, 72, 108 and 144 will be exposed or visible.
