Griddle Burner Ignition Troubleshooting Please make sure to disconnect all the gas source before the procedure. Scenario 1: Check if the griddle ignition wire is loose or not properly connected. 1. Open the griddle lid and remove the griddle plate. 2. Lift the entire griddle frame by tilting the back end upward first, then lift the whole frame out. 3. You will see a red connector — ensure it is firmly plugged in. If it’s loose, reconnect it securely. 4. When reinstalling the griddle frame, keep the back slightly raised. Carefully align the burner’s venturi tube with the gas nozzle from the griddle valve, slide it into place, and then set the frame down properly. Scenario 2: No spark from the ignition electrode. 1. Open the griddle lid and remove the griddle plate. 2. Use pliers to slightly pry open the ignition box, then adjust the electrode position so the tip is approximately 3mm away from the burner. 3.
