Overview of Hardware for EM TP – Tissue Processor

The EM TP is a tissue processor with integrated fume extraction system for preparing tissue for light and electron microscopically examination. Reagents are held and clipped into a carousel; using twenty-four 20ml polypropylene vials for Electron Microscopy (EM) and/or twelve 100mL polyamide vials for Light Microscopy (LM). The reagents can be pre-loaded outside the device onto the removable carousel in a fume chamber and transported prepared to the EM. This video covers the hardware of the EM TP, and is intended for use in conjunction with the User Manual (primarily section 4.3), covering the carousel, reagent vial loading, the heater/cooler unit, and other aspects of the hardware encountered during regular use.
