California Highway 4 is pretty amazing. As it crosses the Sierra Nevada, it's reduced to one lane -- with no center stripe -- and traffic from both directions must share the road. It also passes by some amazing scenery as it skirts the tops of the mountains. This video shows the drive from California 89 (the east end of 4) to Big Trees State Park.
