Kinloch Rannoch, Perth and Kinross, Scotland. Kinloch Rannoch (simply 'Rannoch' as known by local's) is a picturesque village located in Perth and Kinross, Scotland, at the eastern end of Loch Rannoch, 18 miles west of Pitlochry, on the north bank of the River Tummel. It is reached by car using the B846. Rannoch was enlarged in the 18th century after the Jacobite rebellion and settled mainly by soldiers discharged from the army, but also by displaced crofters. The village is situated in breathtaking scenery, and is a great place for cyclists and walkers. Kinloch Rannoch was used for the site of 'Craigh na Dun' in the TV show Outlander. In Kinloch Rannoch, you can find a range of amenities, including a hotel, general store, a café in the square, a gallery, a gift shop, and public EV chargers.
