Screenplay: “Zarigol in Winter” Opening Scene (Seconds 0–10): The camera pans over a snow-covered hut in the middle of a frozen landscape. Inside, Zarigol, a young mother with weary eyes, carefully places the last pieces of firewood into the old stove. Scene Two (Seconds 10–20): Her two children huddle together in the corner. One is wrapped in a torn blanket, the other rubs his hands to fight the cold. Zarigol smiles faintly, trying to hide her exhaustion and give them a sense of comfort. Scene Three (Seconds 20–30): She sets a small pot on the stove. Inside, only water and a few slices of potato. The children watch eagerly, their eyes glowing as if a feast is being prepared. Scene Four (Seconds 30–40): The wind roars outside. A broken window covered with cloth flutters, letting icy air seep in. Zarigol pulls another blanket over her children and sits beside them, shivering. Scene Five (Seconds 40–50): The children slowly drift into sleep in their mother’s arms.
