Google Home Bluetooth Full Setup - Controlling a Bluetooth Speaker and Acting as a Bluetooth Speaker Google Home can now control a Bluetooth speaker as well as act like a Bluetooth speaker. You can also add Bluetooth speakers to groups (through your existing Google Home or Google Home Mini) and have them play by default as part of a group. All in all, the new improvements from Google related to the Google Home and Google Home Mini Bluetooth speaker pairing capabilities are exactly what was needed for this home automation device. You can take your Google Home and pair it with an 4.1 Bluetooth speaker (or greater) and it will act as a transmitter to the speaker. Unfortunately, you can't pair multiple bluetooth speakers to one Google Home or Google Home Mini, but you can add the bluetooth speaker to a Google Home group. It's not a direct addition, but Bluetooth speakers are added to groups through the Google Home or Google Home Mini they're paired with. All of this is essentially controlled by the Default Speaker setting in your Google Home application. Now, on the flip side, your Google Home and Google Home Mini can be controlled by your iPhone or Android phone. You can pair a Google Home with your iPhone or Android phone, and as such, control your Google Home through your smartphone. At the end of our tutorial video, I will show you how to tie all of this together. You can control a Bluetooth speaker as well as your Google Home device, all through Bluetooth.
