Making Pumpkin Pie Dish | In The Labs with Vectric | Vectric FREE CNC Projects

Autumn is traditionally the harvest season, and that means locally grown fresh vegetables and fruit are ready to hit a dinner table near you! This is the time of year to gather together to share what we are thankful for, and this project will make for the perfect centrepiece serving dish! This month Todd has cooked up a project that will be sure to impress your dinner guests or be the perfect way to present your special dessert at the family meal. With the simple to use molding toolpath, and a bit of planning we can make a double-sided wooden pie dish and, using a single 3D model of a pumpkin top, create a lid for it. We have included the ‘Pumpkin Top’ model from Design & Make in the file so you don’t need to go purchase it… its free. Just keep in mind that the model will not be reflected in your D&M account and VCarve users will not be able to export it from the file as a stand-alone piece of clipart.
