This awesome Florida State Park is right on the beach and the campground less than a mile from the beautiful emerald green waters of the Panama City Beach. You're virtually a few minutes from everything in Panama City Beach. We parked our Retro 189R travel trailer in one of the campground's water front (full hook-up) sites on the Grand Lagoon for a relaxing weekend and peaceful evenings at the campground. At and near this state park campground you can have all sorts of fun with camping, cycling, fishing and if you like you can even take a short ferry ride over to Shell Island for some snorkeling or shell hunting. You can relax at the beach or hang out at the campsite toasting marshmallows. With high temperatures in the mid 70s, this Florida State Park was an excellent place for us to relax in December. We camp as much as we can and we record all of our camping adventures while traveling in our Retro 189R. We do this for... every campground every site every time.
