ZWO ASI174MM Deep Sky Astrophotography Setup

This quick video explains how I conducted my first deep sky astrophotography test of the ZWO ASI174MM camera. For doing deep sky astrophotography, there are two types of filters you can use. The first set, which is not mentioned in this video are narrow band filters. These filters are good for nebulae. They are also capable of removing almost all of the local light pollution and even the sky glow caused by the moon! The second set of filters, which I am using in this video, are Red, Green and Blue (RGB) filters. These filters do not remove any of the light pollution, however when you add a light pollution filter in the imaging train, you can eliminate a significant amount of the light pollution. Since the ZWO ASI174MM camera has reasonably high sensitivity for a CMOS chip, and I can do pixel binning, I should be able to still do deep sky with two filters in the imaging train because of the enhanced signal-to-noise ratio.
