Today we explored some of Kuala Lumpur’s most interesting and aesthetic spots, starting with Sri Perdana Gallery, followed by lunch at APW Bangsar, and ending the day at Saloma Bridge with street food and city views. Our day began at Sri Perdana Gallery, the former official residence of Malaysia’s Prime Minister. Walking through the gallery felt like stepping into history. We explored multiple rooms, including the private dining area, kitchen space, bedroom, and speech hall, each showcasing different aspects of formal and personal life. There were detailed displays of traditional outfits, suits, hats, personal accessories, and even clothing worn by his wife, giving a closer look into the lifestyle and ceremonial side of leadership. One of the most fascinating sections was the car showcase, where official vehicles were displayed, adding another layer to the experience. After that, we took a Grab ride to APW Bangsar, a creative lifestyle hub known for its industrial charm, curated restaurants, and aesthetic food spots. We chose Breakfast Thieves, where we had fresh smoothies and juices with no added sugar, dumplings, and noodles. What stood out was how clean and balanced everything tasted — no need to request modifications, just good quality ingredients done right. Later, we headed to Saloma Bridge, one of Kuala Lumpur’s most iconic pedestrian bridges. From here, you can see the Petronas Twin Towers, KL Tower, and the surrounding skyline. We walked around, took photos, and explored the nearby area, which is filled with street food stalls and local restaurants, similar to a lively food street. We tried BBQ sausages, chicken wings fresh off the grill with smoke rising, Milo, and other street snacks, making it the perfect way to end the day.
