And so—fair warning—it isn't a polished performance in any sense. I forget lyrics, overload the mic, and hit some questionable notes in some songs I haven't played since 2008. But there's still something special about it, and it was fun to spend an afternoon with the album all these years later, and wonder why I pitched all those songs so high. I'm joined by Emily Lee on piano in "Home Life," and Mary Lowth on harp in "I Was A Cloud", as well as a host of unsuspecting guests from outsides, including passing trucks and airplanes.
