This video follows on to the MQTT example series base example (link below) and is specific to Azure Power BI dashboards. The video doesn't go into the specifics of of the SoftHub's MQTT capabilities as those topics are covered in detail in the SoftHub documentation as well as the "SoftHub MQTT Capabilities" videos, also linked below. In our base example we presented a quick example of how to send sensor data to a MQTT broker. This video builds on that example, specifically re-targeting a cloud based Azure Power BI dashboard to display our sensor data graphically. The OmnIoT SoftHub Platform turns your Raspberry Pi 2, 3, 4, or Zero SBC into a highly configurable IoT edge Hub/Gateway powerhouse. Connect to any supported BLE or ANT sensor using a simple drop-down interface. Send data to any standard MQTT broker with outgoing "on the fly" packet reformatting to ensure universal packet level compatibility with virtually any third party cloud based solution. Log sensor data to internal or locally attached storage. Actuate local devices, and/or allow user input and control, via the SoftHub's Raspberry Pi GPIO interface. Generate alarms (audio, light, email, sms) based on complex sensor threshold logic. Control Raspberry Pi hardware add-on's (video, audio, etc.) directly from your application with the SoftHub's Raspbian system interface. And much more... all with no programming and usually only minutes effort.
