Empresário de 57 anos, o piloto da ilha de São Jorge, Fernando Soares, regressou este ano aos ralis, após uma paragem prolongada de 18 anos, não resistindo ao apelo de uma paixão de juventude pela Lancia e pelas cores da Martini Racing. O piloto açoriano foi até o primeiro na Península Ibérica a correr com o novo Lancia Ypsilon Rally4 HF, um carro que trouxe de volta a mística italiana aos troços de rali. Durante o Azores Rallye 2025, o RJCanalRallye foi conhecer de perto o novo Lancia, que impressionou Fernando Soares pela qualidade do seu chassis e pela facilidade de condução.  A 57-year-old businessman and rally driver from São Jorge Island, Azores, Fernando Soares returned to rallying this year after a long 18 year's break, unable to resist the call of his youthful passion for Lancia and the colors of Martini Racing. The Azorean driver was the first in the Iberian Peninsula to race with the new Lancia Ypsilon Rally4 HF, a car that brought back the Italian mystique to rally stages. During the Azores Rallye, RJCanalRallye got a close look at the new Lancia, which impressed Fernando Soares with the quality of its chassis and ease of driving.
