It was my plan to go to one of the local lakes with my floating hide. Simon decided to join me this time but a storm ruined our plans. As we were looking at the map a few locations stood out, but none of us had been there before and we had no permission. I did a few phone calls, and to make a very very long story short, we met the land owners the next day and they were very nice people. We got permission to not only paddle around in the lake but also to camp nearby.
