Part 7, Final Video in this series. Going out with a bang this year!!! I took my first shots with this rifle 7 days ago and here we are at the 1000 yard line. I have fired roughly 225 rounds through this gun this week. Did an extensive load development and slowly stretched this rifle out. This is my first attempt at 1000 with this rifle. The target is 36 inches tall, and the exact distance is 1006 yards. This proves you don't have to have a custom rifle to reach 1000 yards. Don't rule out these budget rifles. I started with a $257 dollar Savage Axis Put an EGW 20 MOA Base on it Mounted a Sightron SiH-TAC 3-9x40 Scope with Weaver Medium 4 hole 1 inch rings Did a little overhaul on the trigger and that's it AND THIS RIFLE HAD A $100 REBATE, how awesome is that.
