This unit was manufactured in November of 1985 The camera records at 29.97 FPS (NTSC broadcast-friendly equivalent of 30fps). It is possible to achieve 59.94 fps (the ATSC broadcast-friendly equivalent of 60fps) with the correct de-interlacing settings. The camcorder is NOT compatible with SLP/EP-recorded cassettes.
