Today's installment brings me to this USPS location once again for a revisit, to once again exercise my freedom to record with my cameras in publicly accessible spaces on property. I had a handful of various points of contact while out here. One that really stood out was from a woman going for a walk, who approached me from behind, asking why I was recording the cars coming & going from the USPS? I asked who she was & she replied, nobody. I questioned who she was , if she thought she was my mom or an authority figure to ask a random stranger what they're doing? She then said she would go inside to tell the clerk, so at that point, I asked her if she was a snitch or a tattle tale back in her school days. She took offense to that, saying, wow ! I went in the building behind her to document how this would play out. She cut the line to get the one clerks attention, who was working behind the counter. There were three customers in line, but the postal clerk took the snitch back behind closed doors for a conversation. They were back there for quite some time, with the customers in line being completely ignored & wondering if anyone else who worked there could help them. apparently not. After some time passed, the snitch lady emerged & made her way towards where I was standing by the front door. As she passed by, I asked her what was said & she replied, "it's been taken care of." I suggested to her not to poke her nose in other peoples business next time, then told her to kick rocks as she did the walk of shame away. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to watch this installment & I invite you to chime in below in the comments with your thoughts on this one!
