On Thursday, a deadly landslide struck a campground at New Zealand's Mount Maunganui, causing 6 fatalities. However, this landslide was not the only to occur on the mountain that day, and it was not even the first cluster of landslides to occur there this century. Today's video discusses a brief overview of prior landslides and the geology of this long extinct lava dome from the knowledge and analysis of a geologist.
