We also were just using 1 hook above a bell weight (1oz) which would be a dropper rig as well. Quinten caught his redfish on a jighead so you can use that. Biggest thing just have fun and don't over complicate it :) For Catching Sand Fleas Turn the sand over and dig about 6in to a foot below the sand where the water washes up on beach, not where it's totally covered.
