Milky Way Rising - 3 Nights and a Busted Telescope

Three videos in one. In this video I share time-lapse and footage from 3 nights over 3 Dark Sky trips over the last 3 months. I absolutely love heading out to dark skies and watching the Milky Way rise! The first night from April was from our trip to Panamint Valley and the Minnietta Mine. Unfortunately my Celestron C11 telescope broke. The primary mirror became dislodged and fell into the corrector shattering it. The second night from May was from the Coso Mountains near Owen's Valley. We camped in the Upper Cactus Flats area. The third night was from June and we were again in the Coso Mountains near Owen's Valley. We camped in the Lower Cactus Flats area. Music from Patrick Patrikios.
