This year, I needed to spend some time in Butte, Montana and I had the opportunity to see the local sites in my downtime while there. Coming from an environmental background, I was thrilled to be able to see the Berkeley Pit from a perspective many haven't been able to see. For those who are unfamiliar, the Berkeley Pit is the largest EPA Superfund site in the United States, meaning it's a historic site that is hugely contaminated.
