Día de los Muertos is a celebration of the life of loved ones who have passed. Celebrating the passing of friends and family is observed in many countries around the world but Mexico has become most renowned for their two day holiday celebrated from midnight on October 31st through November 2nd. In honor of the Day of the Dead, we painted sugar skulls on our faces (for the first time) with kids face paint because it's just what we had around the house.
